I started at 315. Currently fluctuating between 208 and 209. I am stalling I think as I have only lost one pound since Thanksgiving. There is no rhyme or reason behind the stall. It's just happening, I started at a size 26. Am currently an 18. My waist measures at a 16 but my large stomach prevents this

The stalls are bound to happen, especially after you lost so much weight. 107 pounds in 6 months isn't just anything. Im hoping to lose 100 as well by my 6 month mark. Congratulations!

Checking in... I'm finally under 300 lbs. Depression hit and I lost myself from Sep-Dec and ate and drank whatever and how much my pouch allowed. I stalled hard but the scale finally moved once I got it together. My 1 yr post-op appointment is today and while I wanted to be around 275 or less, I'll take this 296.8 and be proud of how far I've come since I saw the scale hit 420.

Dont beat yourself up! Those months are the hardest but just take it as a lesson learned and keep it moving. Its not going to do you any good if you dwell on it. Id try to find out what made you go backwards so that it doesnt happen again... you know, figure out the root of the problem. 420 to 296 is a great accomplishment though. Congrats! We are here for you!

Hi,

I am still way over 300lb - did not have surgery et, but am currently losing some weight beforehand. I have lost over 50lb and have another 50 to go before I could have RNY.

Slowly but surely.....

50 pounds on your own? That's incredible! The time will come sooner than you think but so far you're rockin it!

I started at 330 first consultation (highest weight was 380). Just before surgery (I had rny on January 21st), I weighed in at 307. All of that lost on the pre-op liquid diet. There is a small part of me that wonders if they really gave me a tiny pouch tummy, because it's still very surreal. First Dr visit is this Thursday when hopefully I'll be down some and can get this hateful jp drain out!!

I’m 5’7” and at my heaviest I was 321 but when I started my journey I was 309. My surgery date is 6/28/18. At the end of my 7 months of required nutrition visits I was 283. But then I got on birth control and ballooned up to 294. I was told not to worry about it because the liquid diet will take the weight off but it is very annoying 🤦🏽‍♀️
Update: 19 months out and I finally hit 193! Hopefully my stall is over. For months, no matter what I did, my weight fluctuated between 195-205. Hope all is well with everyone

Hey ladies, I hope you're all doing well! I'm sitting at 290 almost 13 months out. I haven't been under 300 lbs in so long and my lowest recorded weight of 289 was in 2009/2010. I've been in a stall for a little while but hopefully it's broken for the moment.

Hi @Nic C! Congrats on making it under 300! I hope you're doing much better. Its crazy your lowest recorded weight was a decade ago. I love reading accomplishments like this :) Are you still stalling or have you been able to lose consistently. I just hit a small stall.

Hi everyone! Id love to hear how everyone is doing and holding up, whether it be with weight loss or just anything really. Has anyone experienced any kind of struggles with losing weight?

Here are my stats:

As of today I am 6 months 5 days post op and weight 270 lbs. Pre op I weighed 375. It feels so good to be down 105 lbs in a little over 6 months. I heard the weight loss slows down once you hit 6 months so I'm hoping I can at least get to 200 lbs by the end of 2020. Fingers crossed!

Thank you! I'm stalling here and there but I'm still losing. I think I put myself in maintenance for a while so I'm going back to basics with my diet to get back on track.

Currently 186 and wearing a size 16. February was slow for me with only 4.5 pounds lost but I lost 11 pounds in January. It's been hard lately in Facebook groups seeing people who had surgery when I did who are already thin. I don't know if I will ever be thin.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
