What type of counseling do I seek out?

I don't feel like I am an emotional eater, more of a sugar addict and a boredom "grazer" but I would like to get some counseling just to help give this process every chance possible to get the weight off and STAY off.. but I am not sure if I am supposed to be looking for just a general counselor OR is there a specific type?

Your group will likely have a list of therapist who work with not only food issues, but stresses brought on by weight loss surgery.

I have similar eating habits and I found someone that specializes in behavioral therapy for weight loss. It is easier to find people who specializes in behavioral therapy but they usually work with OCD, and autism. Hope that helps.
