I hate it when people post just to post.....

....like when clearly the post has no relevance or adds no value to the OP's question or concern.

Like this:

OP Question: I am having trouble finding a good fish recipe I like...can anyone help?

Response: I hate fish! Fish makes me gag!

Can someone explain the purpose of this? I mean, if you don't like fish, then why dont you just move on to the next thread? Who really cares what makes you gag or not gag???? I know I don't.

Wow, and just think -- we may ALL get handled that way if you-know-who gets his way. :blushing:
It's funny, you know, but the more I read in this site about the troubles that US citizens have with their complicated insurance system and Medicaid, etc, the more I think you guys really NEED a universal health care system.

Our system isn't perfect by any means, but ask any Aussie about how difficult or easy it was to get the band, either privately or through the public system, and I'll bet most of them would say it was a walk in the park compared to the stories from our US counterparts.

And they have an online blog: xxxxxxxx. There's also a latex allergy questionnaire. I'm really frightened of that one. (Plain, I'll expect a comment here)

I am soooo not amused. Crap and double crap. If I'm a really good girl, I may even get to do a 6-month diet. Wow, and to think, if all had gone the other way, I'd be celebrating my 1 week bandiversary tomorrow.

Life's funny, ain't it? :blushing:

Can I come stay with you, Fanny? I'll get banded there AND get to see the Opera House!! I'll even bring my own protein drinks!!

Seriously? How demeaning!!!

Sooo sorry. Life does throw you little twists every now and then, huh? It will get better.

Hey, I waited 5 years to get mine...not for the same issues. I was dating a semi-jerk and he was against it and I was sooo eager to make him happy. I didn't do it....when I finally left him (and VA) I looked into it and had it done.

It'll come, and you'll get there!

And they have an online blog: Keep Your Chins Up.

I hope you're sh*tting me. That's the name of their blog?!? That's pretty offensive to me and I may be the least PC person here (Ok, so the least PC person is Beth :blushing:). Other considered titles for their blog:

Barely Human

There's Still Hope, Fat Ass

OMG look @ U

Impending Coronary

I like the second one...

Maybe refer the makers of that blog to the Yo Momma thread.

Really...that's HORRIBLE. This is the government, right? The medicaid folks?

Wow. Just wow!!

Maybe it should be named something to convey a sense of urgency, like Time's Running Out.

What we need are tort reforms, and other major tweaks to the existing system -- NOT to scrap it.

Anyway, sorry y'all... didn't mean to get politics going in here. :blushing:
