It's 4:30 am here. I woke up all acidy because I stupidly drank a bunch of Protein Drinks right before bed. (I was behind on my liquid and Protein for the day.)

Passing a kidney stone is a lot like being in labor. You get waves of pain kind of like contractions and the drugs they give you aren't enough to handle the peak pain. Then the wave subsides right about the time they come back with the good drugs you demanded at the height.

Ummm....I hope that you don't mean that literally there is crap - it was afterall a toilet that overflowed!!

But I understand the frustration...

Alliemorris - glad to hear it. Do you suppose you can send that guy to shovel my driveway? It would be really handy to have that service in around 7 or so tonight. I foresee a lot of shovelling in my immediate future...

36_1_4.gif 36_1_38.gif 28_4_9.gifI want snow! I miss snow. We get a little dusting every now and then. Sometimes we get 1" or 2. We haven't had a good snow in about 11 yrs. I would like 1 good snow a year and I would be happy! Especially at Christmas. 1 of our weathermen said the other night that we might have a "cold wet weather event before Christmas". Which means we will probably end up with ice if it is true. But everyone have a wonderful and blessed day.

LOL - Luluc --- Is it a baby spoon? That's what I'll need! I think I still have some of those left over from the baby days.

Well thank goodness for Thanksgiving. I'm going to have my first Holidays with Hitler (my band) and I'm sure he will not let me have anything I want.

LOL

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
