Question - How many of you started posting to a thread started in the month of your banding (e.g. "July Butterflies Master Thread") and still continue to post to that thread and/or is the thread still active? It's only been 3 months and July Butterflies thread already seems to be dying despite my best efforts. *sigh*

I've decided I'll post every day anyway and maybe just start using it as my personal blog page.

I've never had a BF or DH that wasn't jealous. As I get older, I find jealousy a real pain in the arse.

I've always found that jealousy is born of low self esteem. I was never jealous....until an ex GF kinda screwed me up for a bit. It took awhile to re-do my head.

Posting just to see if anyone wants to make bets on how many more pointless political threads are going to be started between now and next week to discuss the exact same things that are already be argued about in the numerous political threads that already exist?

Isn't that what we call a sucker's bet? :w00t:

5) Hey - are y'all busting on me for my postings on the McCain thread?!? :tt2:

I cannot bust you for what I will not read.

Though I thought that was the stupidest thread title ever and then someone on the other side had to prove me wrong and post a stupider one.

I've always found that jealousy is born of low self esteem.

Mr. Mac isn't jealous either.

And I love "Chuck" and Zachary Levi!!!!!!!!:w00t:

Me too! And Sarah's not so bad either. Hee.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
