Just driving thru your neighborhood!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEE Boston Legal. Bar none, the funniests show on TV.

I disagree. I'm completely hung up on How I met your mother!!

So... you're saying it's my fault? :w00t:

LOL....It's always the womans's fault!! Seriously, I was trying to say that, IMO, it's more about the jealous person than about the "other" (spouse, SO, BF/GF, co-worker, etc).

O.K. Fanny, your bf is gorgous! Kinda puts me in the mind of Rick Springfield. Way to go Fanny. :w00t::laugh:

Did I miss the pics of "Mr. Fanny"?!?

PS - I am SNT and I Facebook.< /div>

Nerd.

Posting to say, wow, I have to go out of town for a couple of days, come back and find I am over 15 pages behind on this thread. That will teach me for only checking in once or twice while I'll was gone.

Guess I will have to get my booty on to work and then spend some time reading and catching up (sshhhhhhh, don't tell my boss!).

Susan, That is EXACTLY my situation. Work internet is so much faster that I put in 90% of my LBT time Mon. - Thurs. night.

Got an unexpected gift this morning - my manager, who has had the bypass and is MUCH slimmer, brought me one of her "old" coats. She dresses very, very well - has a wonderful sense of style. Beautiful ivory wool coat, classic lines, made for a tall woman.

Ebony, I'm glad somebody here is a "fashionista"......because most of the time all I wear is scrubs.

I will try the Protein Drink. Something has to give on this. I can't get another fill for a month. I don't want to gain weight during that time, so I am using all of my will power (which if it was a lot of will power, I wouldn't be fat) to not choose the wrong things. ugg. I knew this was going to be hard work, but dag!

Hang in there, Slim. It will get better. You can do it!!

Which naturally leads me to the NEXT I wonder...is Aboriginee still used to describe the native people of Australia or has that become as politically incorrect as calling our Native Americans Indians?

I'm quite a lot Indian....and you've offended me!! Where's the political correctness, Donna?!? lol. And I thought "aboriginal" was interchangable with "indiginous" when it came to describing a population?? I'm no anthropologist, so that could be totally, totally wrong, though!

I love the comment about everyone looking the same considering I don't even look like anyone in my family!!! (No, Plain, I am not adopted or the milkman's kid!) :tt2:

Me too! The tallest (and biggest) member of my family is my dad. He's 5'10 & 170 lbs (my wife is taller than my dad!!!!). My mother and sister hover around the 5'2 / very small mark. Aren't Genetics nutty?!?

And She....I took your point about posting / taking down pics. That seems pretty sensible. I also kinda wish I had taken more to be able to document my weight loss.

They are indeed b/c my brother doesn't look like my parents either. I'm 5'4" and dumpy; my brother is 6'4" and 175. WTH?!?

I also kinda wish I had taken more to be able to document my weight loss.

I'm going to take pics once/month. Is that often enough? The Realize website is great for keeping up with the weight, Vitamins, and what I've eaten (presuming I key it, of course).

PS - I got my Davinci syrups today!

I read that book. I thought it was a little overrated. The very idea that a hidden "code", if you will, could be in a bottle of Syrup is a little fantastic.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
