Yikes, Beth...I gotta agree w/SNT...after all the crappolla this week, maybe we should be nice for a while? :sneaky:

Huh?? Sorry, I'm lost.

I have a certain someone on ignore, so all I saw was "So much for not attacking the person."

pjtp: Look at my ticker!! *dances*

i've been so close to breaking the 80kg barrier twice lately and then gone back up again. I got down to 80.8kg last month, then 80.3 a few weeks back, and promptly bounced up and down from there to 81.5 over and over and over... But this morning i made it!! 79.9!! Whoohooo!!! One more pound and i'll be able to post in the 100lb lost thread too! Double-whoohooo!!

Yay for fills! :sneaky:

fabulous!!!!!

But did you check the box properly??? No kidding, I once had a 'tick' the box form returned because instead of a 'check' I used an X. I was advised that a 'tick' = 'check'. :wink2::blink::sneaky::blink:

Here is my teacher advice to the kids: Read first, then do! Of course I am a horrible example - I always start filling out or working on things and then look at the directions! LOL!

PJTP: Look at my ticker!!

You ROCK!:sneaky:

I'm glad that you mentioned that. I sometimes have to remind him that he can't be so hard on himself if he makes an honest mistake.

It is so hard for those kids that push themselves beyond normal expectations. Also be supportive as he enters high school, that is always a tough one and kids need to remember that college entrance people like to see kids that have overcome a challenge (getting their first ever :sneaky: and how they handled and responded to it. That way they will not be so overwhelmed when they get to college. Okay, feel like I have been on my teacher soap box all day!!

All three of you being nice?? WT. . .:sneaky:

It's Friday and I'm fighting w/DD over a friend staying or her staying at a friend's. We have errands to run tomorrow and will be out all day...so, NO. and...NO. and NO. I'm okay with her coming up with a solution and presenting it, as long as it works - but nothing is working and I'm tired, and just feel like ending the "discussion". But, now she's trying to work something out with my mom.

I like it that she's crafty and I like it even more when she bugs my mom. :sneaky:

Hold tight, kids are pretty resourceful when they see something they want!

PJTP: DD is swollen and been sleeping most of the day. She takes her vicodin and falls asleep. Trying to keep ice on her cheeks but it is hard when she is sleeping. Poor dear!

Nursing a Migraine right now, just barely sitting there, I can feel it and think it was a weather change - damn weather:mad2:

I know that you are taking care of DD, but you also have to take care of you. You won't be any good to her if you are down ill. Have you taken anything to hold the migraine off from getting worse?

No, I am giving it a bit of time to see where it moves, sometimes it will back down and I don't have to take the migraine meds. I am thinkin' this one is going to hang around though.

Thanks for the reminder, I do tend to care for the family, animals, kids at school, parents and I am at the bottom of the list!

Okay, I un-ignored that person for a second just to see what the problem was. For the record, though Wasa and I have gotten into a heated battle or two, I don't feel we have walked away with hard feelings towards each other, nor do I feel we don't like each other. I simply don't get involved in too many topics where she is, but not for any personal reason. We have both agreed on issues more than we have disagreed.

What I said was in jest, but yes, considering the week we've had, I agree it was untimely. For that I apologize.

For the snide "yes you did," you know what you can do with it. If you're so about ignoring me, then do it already. Otherwise, I don't want to hear from you.

Ha! That's your question of the night...if you ask a third time do you get a prize?

I'm gonna smack you!

I get headaches when bad storms are coming in. They suck; my sympathies, KR.

I agree with you! If all they asked for was some sort of mark, I would likely have done the wrong one too.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
