Extreme Pain at Incision Site

Omg! The pain I feel right now is killing me. It’s a burning sensation. Even with walking it hurts. I don’t know what to do.

I had that! Sorry to hear you do, too. For me, it started on Day 10 and ended on Day 16. It was like there was literally a knife embedded in my main incision wound, and it hurt like crazy every time I moved. Went away as suddenly as it came. Swelling pressing nerve? Staple/stitch in muscle? Hematoma? Hernia? I never learned exactly what it was, but it is not uncommon.

Try a heating pad - that helped me a lot with my incision site pain. Also if it keeps up and is very extreme don't hesitate to call your doctor or nurse for advice or help.
