Dr said to not take a whole pill bigger than a Bc pill. So I crush the protonix? Even though the labeling says not to crush it?? I’m confused!

If you don't have any trouble swallowing it whole, that's what I'd do. It's a fairly small pill . . . and, disclaimer, I was taking all my pills whole from the get-go, even the bigger calcium and D3 pills. Recent blood work was all very good.

I started taking pills the day after surgery. Started with ones about the size of a dime to nickel and started taking horse pills without splitting them about 1-2 weeks out but only cause I was scared. They were no problem.

Protonix is an extended release medicine, so it shouldn't be crushed. Thanking are pretty small, so they are easy to swallow.
