Dry mouth after protein

Im wondering the same thing. Anything from protein shakes, Ensure etc, will dry my mouth instantly. I just rinse my mouth with water which helps a little, that was the only suggestion my doctor gave.

Biotene like others have recommended immediately after surgery. Wouldn't know why it wouldn't work for you also. Worse case scenario, rinse out your mouth with non-alcoholic mouthwash.
