Anyone have any suggestions for dry mouth after taking in protein shakes I used to be a gum chewer before surgery and well we can no longer have gum ..any suggestions??

Biotene like others have recommended immediately after surgery. Wouldn't know why it wouldn't work for you also. Worse case scenario, rinse out your mouth with non-alcoholic mouthwash.

Im wondering the same thing. Anything from protein shakes, Ensure etc, will dry my mouth instantly. I just rinse my mouth with water which helps a little, that was the only suggestion my doctor gave.

I know which really sucks I was wondering if we could have a sugar-free mints maybe every now and then or even if sugar-free Lifesaver or something

With the biotene, it says uou have to brush first, then use it, right?

Well since you're taking in liquids only that rule could be ignored.
