New member. Nervous.

Hi all. My first consult is March 6th. Before I made the appt I was convinced I wanted the gastric bypass, I had done a lot of research (for 2 years) and there were pros and cons about vsg and rny but I believed the rny was for me, I've been obese all my adult life and tried everything. Anyway after talking to the nurse and learning just how risky rny is for me, I decided to go for the vsg. And am looking forward to following all of you on your progress.

Hi and welcome Fender Mama. If you have any questions please ask. You are starting on a great journey toward better health. Won't always be easy but oh so worth it. A smaller body and a,longer lifespan & lessen the chances deveoping cancer and other bad diseases. A win-win situation.
