Can't lose any more!!

I can't seem to lose any more weight!! I got my band 2012. I lost down to 138. I am now 158. I don't feel any restriction, but I do get heartburn everyday after I eat.

I really want to lose 25-30 more lbs, but I can't seem to lose again. Has anyone else has this experience? What do you recommend?

Help please!!!

Medically supervised liquid protein diet. It works especially well with the aid of the band. I did it. When I went on the liquid -- I lost very slowly. The MD thinks all my low-carbing threw my metabolism out of wack. I don't know -- maybe. So I stalled for about 6 weeks but then it wacked in. I'm now down to 26 BMI. Another thing ---- is --- have you had any surg for lose skin? It's possible that some of your weight is loose skin instead of fat. Also --- removing lose skin can really give you a needed boost. Best wishes

please please please see the doctor about your heartburn. GERD is the most common complication with the band and over time can lead to cancer. It is why I ultimately revised to bypass in a hurry. do not let it go untreated. mine caused permanent damage, make sure you are getting it treated.
