I had my sleeve done two weeks ago before that two weeks of liquid diet . I have lost a total of 30 lbs. , twenty were on the liquid diet pre-op stage . You are probably looking at two weeks more liquid diet following surgery . I see my doctor for my first follow up tomorrow. Hopefully get moved to next phase of post op diet .

That’s who’s doing my procedure. Are you pleased?

Very much so. He took a lot of time answering my questions and never made me feel rushed. He was very patient. The procedure itself went well and no complications so far! I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering wls.

I am in Arlington and see Dr Brewer who is with Dr. Hodges in Las Colinas. Surgery date is 03/28. Doing bypass

I'm in SW Arlington in the pre-surgical phase. Hoping for insurance approval in the next few weeks.

In process with Bagshahi - anyone know if they weigh you when you go do your quest labs? I’m in such a precarious position where I cannot gain or lose in order for insurance to approve. It’s making me crazy! Lol

They did not weigh me at Quest. I could be wrong, but I think they submit the original weight from your first appointment. Dr. Bagshahi’s office is very familiar with insurance requirements and they will do what they can to help get it approved.

I’m in Fort Worth! Just had a RNY on Thursday 2/15!

Hey there! Just thought I would check to see how you’re feeling.

I’m doing okay. I’m struggling to get in my protein everyday, but no major complaints. My biggest issue right now is the vitamins. I hate the taste of them and they make me feel bad after I take them. My NUT told me to hold off another week before taking them. She said I could wait until week 2 to try again. What vitamins do you use?
