You almost get emotional and teary eyed when it happens. You feel like giving an acceptance speech!

I had my sleeve surgery on 2/6 and haven’t been able to poop yet. I did finally start farting today and even that was incredible! I swear I heard the Hallelujah chorus!

If you're on the two week pre-op liquid diet of protein shakes, that's a lot of protein and zero fiber. My advice is to buy both Miralax and suppositories pre-op. Mix miralax in Day 2 post-op and I needed to use a suppository on day 3 or 4. Since then I've been really regular (TMI) but yes every visit to the toilet is a gift.

Sleeved 2/6 and no poopies. Lol. I can’t wait;)

Me three days post op: “Dear God, will I ever poop again?”

Me six days post op: “Dear God, why is there a waterfall coming out of my butt for the forth time today?”

I am learning to be careful what I wish for, that’s for sure ?
