Watching Jacques Pepin on Pre-op diet

So I’m sitting here watching PBS cooking shows while I’m on the preop diet. He’s making baked potatoes stuffed tomatoes and chocolate pistachio brittle. A few days ago this would’ve killed me as I was very hungry. I think at this point to certain extent my hunger has left me. I like to cook and I love to watch cooking shows. I look forward to making quality meals of the appropriate portions from expensive cuts of meat & seafood with fresh fruits fruit and vegetables. I like the thought of delicious quality foods over mass quantities of junk food. I don’t consider that a sacrifice at all! My surgery is on January 18th. It’s coming up fast!

I posted this earlier & the title was messed up & I have no idea how to edit.
