I am currently looking at having a revision from gastric bypass done 11 years ago to DS. After meeting with the surgeon yesterday it has left me feeling very confused as to what to do. The whole thing about 3 monthly blood tests and the nutritional stuff leading to being very ill is worrying plus what I want to to be restricted in what I can eat, would a revision to a sleeve do that, is the DS the best option for me. Any advice would be much appreciated please. Plus how long for recouperation. Op is due on 9th Feb and I have a friend arriving from Canada and we have 3 days away in Cornwall booked on 15th which is about 2 1/2 hrs drive for me back on 18th then Eurostar to Paris for 2 nights on 19th. I m worried it’s gonna be to much and I won’t be able to drive even with it being an automatic.
