Getting banded in November, Reality Setting In!

I'm getting banded on November 29th in Toronto by Dr. Yau and now reality is sinking it. I'm so excited and nervous. I don't know what to do! Is anyone else getting banded in November?:omg:

Yes, as a matter of fact. I am sticking to the liquid diet. I have been on it for 7 days and it is not easy, but it is possible with lots of determination:thumbup:. I want my surgery to be a success and I definitely don't want to have a "fatty liver" and have my surgery postponed. My surgery is scheduled for Nov. 18th at 7:00am.

Good luck to you.

Thanks so much I am drinking my chicken broth!:D

Hi Rumpid,

I'm getting banded next Tuesday, November 18th. I find that I'm more excited than nervous. I think the only thing I've ever been nervous about is getting thru the immediate post-op liquid diet. I worry about feeling hunger during that period and whether my healing process will be a speedy one, we'll see.

Good luck in your journey, as you'll be right behind me. At least you'll get to enjoy a 'last supper' of sorts on Thanksgiving, unless you're on a pre-op liquid diet (I'm not).

Inspirations and blessings,

Nat
