Low sugar or sugar free marinades/bbq sauce without artificial sweeteners?

I'm looking for some products such as marinades, bbq sauces, etc that have little or no sugar but also no artificial sweeteners. My DH is allergic to all artificial sweeteners and has horrible stomach issues (we'll leave it at that) if he eats them. It's a pain to have to cook 2 separate things when doing grilled meats and such using marinades, etc. I would like some that are natural and if they are sweetened, would like it to be with fruit juice, honey, etc. I could make my own but in this age of convenience, I am hoping to find something. Thanks.

The one I make has brown sugar in it, which is relatively low calorie..

It's a combo of different bbq recipes I've tried, and ended up liking this concoction..

I eyeball all the measurements, but here's an estimate..

1 tbsp of mustard (I use spicy sometimes, sometimes hot & sweet, and sometimes plain yellow mustard), 1/4c of vinegar (I never knew which one to use..) so I have used normal white vinegar, and balsamic vinegar.. 1/2c of ketchup, 2 shakes of worstershire sauce, dash of salt and I use about 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar.. mix it all together..then I water mine down with about equal parts of water to the rest of the mix.. doesn't look like much (or smell), but when it's cooked into a meat (I've slow cooked different kind of beef in it) it is absolutely wonderful and the meat falls right off the bone.

Edit to add.. would probably be just as good without the brown sugar since it has ketchup.. if you have special needs like diabetes, etc. where you do not want any sugar there's an idea.. but I guess ketchup has sugar in it too..

Truly, how much marinade or sauce do you eat with a meal? It really does not make a lot of difference, there's no need to ditch a normal recipe to save like 40 calories. Just enjoy, you dont overeat anymore so there's no need to worry about it.

I'm just banned from marinades becuase anal DH gets all shirty over the mess they make of the barbecue!
