How much weight have you lost in the first month?

Surgery was 11/08/17

Weight - 343

Current - 296

Goal - 215/220

I have lost 47 pounds in one month since surgery and feel great! I have been working out and active nearly every day. Honestly feel like I didn't even have surgery thats how good I feel. Has anyone else experienced this much weight loss in this short amount of time?

You started out pretty big so larger losses are expected. People smaller with less to lose don't usually lose as much. Weldone.

I’m three weeks out and have lost a bit over 20 lbs so far- hoping to hit 25 lbs before my 4 week post op

Today marks one week and I'm down 12 pounds. That's way better than I expected, considering my surgery BMI was 35, but I'm expecting it will slow a bit from here on out.

Almost 50 lbs in the first month! That’s impressive. Congrats! I’m only 1 week out, but I’ll pop back here in 3 weeks.

I had a staple line leak, so was in hospital for 2 months. However, I've lost nearly 40 lbs... so that made up for the pain and misery I went through.
