So today I started my liquid diet ( 2 weeks) , I’m drinking Premier ... and right of the bat.. the first symptom is heartburn... omg this is hell to me.. cuz I suffer from heartburn.. but I was keeping it under control. O.o anyone else suffer from this and felt relief later on? And I saw people saying they get headaches by second or third day... but meds are allowed right ?? [emoji848]

I'm on my third day using the same shakes, my headache is murder and I was told not to take anything. Not getting heart burn but you can take an antacid for it, Rolaids are good.

Hmm ..I️ wonder what is the issue with taking meds? Cuz I will really have to for my heartburn. And thanks for the tip. I’ll try that out.

Taking Nsaid before surgery is not allowed as it can interfere with other drugs. Also these are processed by your liver and we are trying to reduce our liver. Rolaids are fine they don't hold any liver damaging properties. Hope this helps.

It does thank you so much. Also I knew about the 24 hours before surgery ... but not through out the 2 weeks.

So I am 9 months post-op. I feel like a pro by now at this point lol. So ask your doc if you can take Nexium for the heartburn. I was allowed to take this both before and after surgery.

Lol. Experience is a virtue and that means is fine to take “some” heartburn med.. so that is good with me. Thank you !
