Surgery is next week and I’m making notes for the anesthesiologist because I’ll need a breathing treatment prior to going under and it occurred to me that I don’t know if there is specific information to provide on my medical records or to emergency contacts for reference post VSG.

I keep putting off getting a medical ID bracelet for some titanium in my neck and wonder if now is the time to get one and to add the surgery info too.

This forum has become a very trusted source of WLS information for me and think this will be good stuff to know for all of us nervous nelly newbies!

Our surgeon recommends an id bracelet saying no nsaids, and no blind ng tubes.
