I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! For all the November sleevers I hope the temptation wasn't too bad! It was definitely odd sitting at the table with family and having nothing on my plate!

I have a question for my fellow sleevers in the puree stage. How are you doing get liquid and food down? I am constantly disgusted by food and uncomfortable with slight neausea. For the past week I've averaged an ounce of apple sauce every day. My dr says a few ounces at every meal. Are y'all experiencing the same struggle?

Still in a lot of pain since my surgery on Wednesday morning. Staying in hospital for one more night and hopefully getting discharged in the morning pending how well I'm coping with the pain.

Anyone have advice on dealing with Pain? Does it get better by day 3?

It may be gas pains from when you had the surgery, All everyone has said is walk it off. Do a few laps around the hospital and see if that helps you any. Also ask your nurse for a heating pad. I heard that helps too. My surgery is next Thursday on the 30th. Only thing I am worried about is the gas pain afterwards.

I was able to take a hot shower in the hospital after my surgery and it really helped with the gas pain. Give that a shot and like everyone says, walk walk walk

Hope you feel better. Hang in there, the pain does go away

I was sleeved on the 10th. I spent two days in the hospital. Lots of nausea and pain- both were managed really well though with medication. I went home on the third day and started feeling much better once I was well enough to get up and take small walks around my apartment. It took me a few days to get there but you will just listen to your body and go at the pace right for you.

I think you wear it for as long as you feel comfortable with it. I don't think you're required to wear it for a minimum or max amount of time.

Finally heading home today from the hospital - my surgery was 2 days ago and the pain I felt afterwards was the worst pain I've been through in my life!

Once the nurse took my drainage tube out of my torso, I felt a lot better. Anyone go through the same thing?

Had surgery yesterday...sleeve.

Nothing to it. Only 1 incision is a bit sore. I've been walking all over this hospital.

Only complaints are sore throat from the tube and dry mouth.

I start on liquids today

So sorry to read that you are in pain. Are you feeling better yet? What was the drainage tube for?

My surgery was Tuesday. Just a couple of oddities. I’m noticing this sound/sensation that reminds me of eating pop rocks. Any one else? Also I’m wonder if it is normal to not have bowel movements during the clear liquid phase.

Hi there, thank you! I'm feeling a LOT better. I switched to ice instead of a heating pad on my torso and it made a big difference. The drainage tube was collecting any excess blood and Water that may have been collecting near the outside of my stomach after surgery. Pic attached here.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
