Hey guys, just a quick question. I get sleeved tomorrow and I have been reading some of the post about pain meds being your best friend. I have a very low tolerance for pain meds, they make me feel sick and nauseous when I eat, so I know not eating and taking them is going to really upset my stomach. Have any of you experienced sickness from pain medicine, since we're basically taking it on an empty stomach?

I had pain meds in my IV at the hospital and didn't need them later. Hopefully you can do the same! *fingers crossed*

I am 3 days post-op. I barely use the pain meds. They are not necessary in my opinion. I have childrens liquid tylenol that i sip on (its very cherry and actually a nice treat!). I wish you a successful surgery!
