I am already planning on making the bake its the first thing on my listemoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.png

It's really good! Also I loved refried Beans with some salsa and melted cheese on top and homemade chili ran through the blender.

Yes pizza is loved lol. But i dont forsee me trying any for a very long time-possibly never again-well at least not in the standard form. I just keep telling myself i had surgery for a reason and pizza is one of them! Le sigh-plan to leave all those bad habits behind.

I like that quote. I sure hope I can be that strong. Keep up the good work. I won't be sleeved until October

Ugh yep, once I found out that "food funerals" were a thing, I went hard.

Omg i just imagined putting a slice of pizza in the blender[emoji30][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. Im not even hungry-head hunger is real🤦🏾‍♀️

I'm 3 months POSTOP and Fridays are pizza not in my house so i eat the topping off a slice! Also as a snack i put pepperoni slices in oven with a lil shredded cheese, & when done I dip in sauce. There is a great zucchini Pizza Crust recipe on Pinterest also[emoji41]

When you are allowed to eat solid foods, do a search for "chicken crust pizza". The crust is made with raw chicken breast (ground to a pureed consistency) and cheese. May sound strange, but it is actually quite delicious. My husband and I made the pizza recipe and even he thought it tasted great, in fact, he ate most of it. It was nice to enjoy a small slice of this pizza for a meal. I think we made that when I was about 3 or 4 months post op. I enjoyed a slice each day for 3 lunches.

Don't remember the nutrition info, but it only had a few carbs and was loaded with Protein.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
