I have had 4 bowel movements today. 4! Is that normal!?!? I have no dumping sensations that go with it. And since I'm in the pureed food stage it's not solid.

I think it would be ok- just make sure you are not getting dehydrated.

It's been so hard for me to get my protein and fluid goals.

I'm told this is normal for like a month. Stay hydrated, it's working. Be thankful their moving. Mine just started last night Surgery was August 1st.

I was in your same boat! No BM after surgery for 9 days. I was so scared my bowels shut down or something. Doctor said as long as you are passing gas, all is good. I was taking colace 2x a day and miralax once daily and it finally happened!
