My dr require's 7 days of liquid diet, no protein, just clear liquid, or sugar free jello, I am really freaking out over this, has anyone else's DR require this?

Yup it's common! Some have to do 14 days of it

For some reason I thought you could have protein shakes.

Yes, it is extremely sweet! I had to dilute it:(

Protein2o is good- I got it at Safeway 15 g of protein. Wasn't too sweet.

No protein on a pre-op liquid diet? That sounds awful. I had to do liquids only for 14 days but I was able to have 3 protein shakes a day.

My doc will have me on a high protein partial liquid diet for 2 weeks.

48 hour clear liquids protein diet.
