Heartburn during pre-op diet?

Hi! I just finished day 2 of my 14 day liquid diet before my VSG on Aug 11. I've never had any issues with heartburn or acid reflux, until I started on all liquids. I'm drinking premier protein Shakes, Greek yogurt, Tom soup, broth... I'm worried it will get worse after surgery. Has anyone else experience this? Any advice??

The only one of those foods that would be a major heartburn trigger is the tomato soup.

Any chance youre lactose intolerance or have other issues with dairy which could be causing problems?

I am having a lot of dairy! But I've never had issues with that in the past either. The Tom soup makes sense. Thanks!
