I just received my surgery date of August 22. How much time is expected to spend in the hospital after surgery? Thanks.

My hospital had me come in the day before. They did some test that day, and then I was first in line for surgery the next morning.

I left the hospital 2 days after my surgery. I could have stayed a day longer, most do here in Austria.

I think in the US most people leave the day after surgery is everything went well.

Which surgery did you have?

@neeseemcmeesee I had the RNY. In the US though, most people will stay a day for Sleeve and RNY

I'm in Colorado. I had 3 days in the hospital and that was perfect.
I had surgery Thursday morning and came home Sunday late afternoon. I have had a perfect recovery so far!
