10 months out. Hit Goal and still want more.

I hit my goal last month and I decided I still wanna lose 10-20 more lbs. I started at 250. I am now 140. Everyone says I'll look bad if I lose any more weight. I still see a fat girl in the mirror. Is this just my past insecurities? Idk. Luckily my skin has bounced into place without skin surgery. At 38 years old, I consider myself a lucky duck. My doctor also says I shouldn't lose anymore because I may not be happy with the result and response from my skin. Advice anyone? Anyway, here are some before and after. First of all, you look amazing! Congratulations. I really trust my surgeon. I listen to everything he tells me. The one thing he tells me is that 150 lbs is perfect for me. Then if I want to set a new goal after that that I could. For him, he was happy with the 150. I started at 227lbs. I am now a size 4/27 in jeans. It's a great feeling. I started to gain the weight back a little because I started to get lazy with the exercising. This all happened this past year. So I started exercising again and hopefully I can get back to where I was before at 153. I put on 30 lbs this winter. I eat right. No carbs. Plenty of protein and water. But if you don't exercise it just comes right back to you. So I am back on the exercising and I can't get lazy. I have neuropathy in my legs due to a spine injury. But I can't let that get in the way. My advice to you is do whatever makes you happy. You look amazing.

You look amazing. Congratulations. The only real person who can determine if you need to keep losing is you, but be honest with yourself. You admitted that you still see a "fat person" when you look in the mirror. That sounds more like body image problems than a real necessity to lose more weight. Talk to a professional about that, consult with your doctor, and celebrate the new you!
