Long stall after surgery

I'm 6 weeks out of surgery and I've been on a stall for the las 3.5 weeks. Not losing weight or inches. I upped my protein intake and my water and my food portions are small.

Is it possible that I'm a failure?

It's possible you are not eating enough calories. At six weeks you should probably be trying for at least 600 calories a day. At two months I was at 600-800 calories a day.

Weight loss is unpredictable. Stay the course. As long as you are following your plan it will happen.

My loss was stair steps. A few weeks of very little then a big drop.

Follow your plan. Eat properly and exercise.

For me personally the too few calories thing was a myth. I did just fine and couldn't get above 500 for months.
