High blood pressure after sleeve

Hi all! This is my first post. I had the sleeve surgery last week on June 21. When I woke up my blood pressure was high and kept climbing. At one point it was 200/105. I got bp meds through my iv and was sent home on oral meds. My bp is about 160/90 now.
I think the meds are making dizzy and tired (although maybe it's because I'm 6 days post op?)
I'm wondering if anyone else has had the experience of having normal bp before the sleeve and then having high blood pressure when they woke up?
Thanks!
Lucy
