Looking for female friends to get to know, chat with about surgery, support etc. eventually meet up! I don't have much support here and really could just use some good friends. Anyone else feeling this way?!

Does your hospital or surgeon offer support groups? Our team here has support groups meeting at the various hospitals about once a week for both newbies and vets. Look into something like that. There are also boards that are specific to the state you live in which might have some resources.

I'm pre-op also, with a tentative date of August 28, but still a lot of hoops to jump through. Do you have a date yet? Where are you located?

I don't live near my closest friends and I'm home about 99 percent of the time, so feel free to reach out on here. I've been reading stuff on this site kind of obsessively.

I actually was able o get into my other account. I posted this forum. I'm actually almost 2 years out. On my last few lbs to lose. I now live in New Mexico.
