Abdominal pain and diarrhea

I have severe abdominal pain and diarrhea 8 months after gastric sleeve...the pain feels like the gas pain from the first couple of days after surgery... Should I be worried...should I got to the ER?

You could just have a virus. I doubt VSG precludes general illnesses. Try usual remedies, fluids, rest, no milk products, only foods easy on tummy. If it lasts more than a few days or gets worse then check w a dr.

I would go to the ER just in case you do have a virus. Better to be safe than sorry but I agree I doubt this is from the VSG.

ER is an expensive trip for a virus, and it won't be a priority, and likely you will pick up sickness from everyone else there. ER is for true emergencies. If you HAVE to be seen try an immediate care instead, but viruses just have to run their course.
