Just Got My Pre op Diet... Cant have milk so no Premier Protein

I just got my pre op diet that I will have to start July 3. We cant have any milk so our protein powder is to be mixed with water only. 1 month post op we can have milk so then will be when I can have my premier protein. Darn! Anyone else was instructed to not have milk pre op and only after 1 month post op can have milk&mix protein powder with milk?
