Thank you!!
How long did it take for you to feel like yourself again?.. and driving how long till you drove

It probably took about a week to feel like me again. As soon as I woke up from surgery I asked the nurse to take me for a walk and then I was walking around the ward every hour for about 5 minutes. The first time I went I could not go far and I felt like I had been run over by a bus, but I'm glad I did it. I drove about 3 weeks after surgery, I only took that long to drive because it had snowed and I was scared I would fall over. Just take your time, your body will let you know if your doing something it doesn't like. I went to a friends house for Thanksgiving 5 days after surgery and I thought I was going to die, do things at your own pace. Don't try to eat and drink at the same time, it hurts like crazy. Make sure you take your vitamins and drink plenty of water. This is your journey, some days you will feel great and other days you will ask yourself "what have I done". I'm so happy I had my surgery, I love the changes in my weight and in my life.
