I know this post is old but please lose the weight first I had vsg basically to bring back fertility and it worked I got pregnant But during my pregnancy I gained 100 lbs Then I was over weight while pregnant I went 38 weeks and 5 days Delivered a stillborn.. My heart is broken and now I'm on a journey to lose weight again and ttc I will never put any child or myself at risk like that again

Just like brae_issleeved said.. I'll do it over again times a thousand I swear to God I'm happy I didn't back out like I wanted at first because of fear.. Don't ever let fear or the what if's stop you for doing something that can change your life for the good.. I had my surgery in June.. I'm down 95 pounds as of today and I couldn't be more happier.. Only my mom.. And ex knows about my surgery. . I never draw attention to my eating habits so know one notices if they do I say I ate earlier.. My life has changed.. But for the better.. I look completely different.. I feel amazing.. I feel beautiful.. I have energy.. No pain.. When I go out I don't want to hide anymore.. Hell I'm front and center lol ... I say go for it.. Spanx and girdles are God sent lol yes lose skin comes with it.. But do I care? Hell no I'm smaller.. I'd rather be smaller with lose skin then as fat and unhappy as I was.. Well depends on how heavy you are now.. I was close to 400 pounds.. So the heavier you are got most the faster you drop.. I don't have a goal weight.. I'm going for how I look if I get to 230 and I like it then I would be okay with that. Sent from my Z981 using BariatricPal mobile app

4 month post op update!! I only have one regret.. WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER!!! I'm so thankful for my sleeve it's ridiculous.. Will post another update for my six months !!
