I'm 3 weeks post op 4/10/17, I've had no nausea and I started my multi vits,and they are capsules. When I take them whole I get nauseas, I opened them and put them in my shakes and it tastes weird....... help

You won't feel nauseous forever. There's nothing you'll feel forever. Good luck!

Are you taking a PPI like Prilosec? If not, you may want to ask your surgeon if that would be indicated for you.

Does your nausea occur all the time, right after eating, hours after eating, or when you're laying down? Try keeping track on when it occurs as that will be important data for your doc.

We were issue with Omeperazole, Buccastem (anti nausea dissolves in mouth) and enough painkillers that would make the local drug dealer envious.

I only use my omeperazole and I find it does everything needed for me as I'm not in pain.

I was given Prilosec for 1 month and then nothing. I never had any nausea at all. My vitamins are sublingual or chewable, I can take them all at once and again no nausea. It is amazing to me how different we all experience the same surgery. I also took no narcotic pain medication, just Tylenol. Three doses of IV Tylenol in the hospital and liquid Tylenol once I got home. I probably could have taken some but I didn't want it to stop me from getting up and moving. I am sure your nausea will subside soon... just hang in there
