Sorry for the topic!

Can anyone tell me if our periods shift - or are late after surgery ?

I am 4 weeks out from surgery and I actually had my period when I was in the hospital for my surgery and it was sooooo long!

Now I'm just wondering if it would be regular ?

I think our cycle does get affected between the surgery and the major weight loss. Mine has actually been more regular since the surgery--2 periods relatively on time, and that rarely happens for me!

My 1st period after surgery was normal. My 2nd period after surgery was a few days late. I don't like irregularities, if this continues, I have to look at birth control options.


Height: 5'0"
Weight for WLS consultation: 216 lbs.
Surgery date: 2/13/17
Goal: -71 lbs for healthy BMI (about 145 lbs).
Current weight: 174.2 lbs
