New from the trucking world

Hi, all! I'm wanting to get banded sometime this year when freight slows down. I wear glasses and smoke. I don't know what else to say, but I look at most of the posts so I don't go into this blindly.

My huband and I will be taking a load to CA then going to TJ for hthe procedure.

Hope everyone is doing well and keep up the posts.

Hi welcome to the forum, the wearing glasses should not be a problem but my Dr. made me quit smoking 2 weeks prior to my surgery which was very hard I wore the patch and Dr. also prescribed Zyban.I not sure if all Dr. require this but he will let you know the requirments. My brother is also thinking about going to Mexico for the surgery but hasn't contacted any Dr. yet.Keep me informed of your progress. Roxanne

I have been in contact with a gentleman that works with Drs. in TJ and will be setting things up as soon as the freight slows down. That may be awhile, but yeah I didn't gain all this weight over night and planning is the key here.

We (my husband and I) we considering going to Monterrey, but the logistics weren't right for us.

Has anyone else been to Drs. in TJ?

I hope I don't have to quit smoking. I know it irritates the stomach, but what else can a person do driving down the road and you've run out of music to listen to. Will cross that bridge if/when need be.

Take care and be safe.
