A scary thing happened today...

I am scheduled to have my sleeve surgery in June, I have been going back and forth between excitement and fear. Today was just another "reminder" of why I NEED this surgery so bad. I was taking my niece into the gym for her softball practice, it was a downhill walk, then up 2 flights of steps into the gym. For the first time in my life, I got extrememly winded and felt like I was going to pass out. It was the scariest feeling ever (it didn't help that the gym was EXTREMELY HOT) This never evwn happened to me when I weighed 310 lbs! (I now weigh 276) I know now that I need to be more scared of NOT having sugery than having it.

If we didn't need this we wouldn't be getting this done right! I also weigh 270. Unhealthy, unhappy, and not living a quality of life I deserve. Don't physch yourself out. Everyone is different but there is one thing I am confident in you, me, and everyone who has had this or is getting this done....WE WILL PREVAIL! [emoji322] I had something happen to me like that last night. It made me more aware of why I need this done. Good luck my fellow future sleeve sista! [emoji322][emoji171]

Ps: I'm super scared but excited but scared... it's like a wild rollercoaster!! Lol I'm sched'd for may 31st! [emoji322]

I joined when I first started thinking about having surgery, and even though I have read some scary stories, most have been supportive and positive. I am really looking forward to the day AFTER my surgery lol
