October 07 Exercise!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Well, it looks like I am not going to make my exercise goal this month, but I did have the flu for a week and a half, so I am glad that I made it to where I am considering. I'm a little nervous now about holiday time. I think november and december are going to be really tough months for me!

Wow that was a fast month wasn't it guys??...geezee

I'm pretty happy with myself for the month. I should start making some sort of goal I guess. Hmmm..they track it all at the Y for me. The bad thing is though it doesn't do it all. Like all the time I did crunches. Gonna think about this.

Anyways last night did my spin class. Was next to a hot man..oh my. I feel so fat..LOL. But hey he can sweat next to me anytimeee. :(

Also did 110 crunches before hand. Tonight I have off and my kid has gymnastics now starting up every Wednesday. Life is sooo busy

Me, too...they stick EVERY time! Unless I use Egg Beaters...and I don't notice a LOT of difference.

Today's excercise: 45 mile bike ride, 180 crunches and two hours weight lifting on shoulders and triceps. (I'm darn near CRIPPLED from yesterdays' leg workout!)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
