Any December 2016 sleevers???? How is your journey so far???

Recommended Posts

@Jodygirl1982 You are doing awesome!

I was sleeved 12/12/16. I have hit my big stall too.. I have been bouncing between the same 1-3 pounds for the last few weeks and it is sooooo frustrating. I know its part of the process its just hard when the scale just stops moving.... makes me scared I might stop losing anymore even though I know that is just my mind messing with me.

I am only down about 43 pounds since the day of surgery, but down 63 total since I started the pre-op diet 2 weeks before. Just taking it a day at a time and trying to up my Water intake and my exercise!

12-27-26 was my surgery date. Surgery day 356. Currently 290. I'm on a stall for the last few weeks as well. Just patiently waiting. ....I know it's going to start up again, but the wait can be tough. Plus side, I feel like I'm still shrinking :)

I know sometimes even though the scales are not moving I'm losing inches. I'm wearing clothes that I haven't wore in quite a while and some for the very first time. Of course I definitely want the scales to move down. I haven't really been exercising much but I'm really to kick that into gear. Good luck and God Bless all on their journey to good health.

I had surgery on 12/21/16. My starting weight was 298 and I am currently 235, 63 lbs down. I believe I am starting a stall now, as I've been 235 the last week, but I feel great! I rode a bike for the first time in 3 years and I've started playing (extreme) tennis.

Wow, you look great. I was sleeved 12/9 And I'm only down 50 pounds. I keep hitting stalls [emoji20]

I'm in the same boat. Sleeved 12/19 and only down 40 lbs. I was at 367 before dieting for almost a year pre-op, surgery at 330 and 290 as of this morning. I guess as long as I'm not gaining, it will all work out in the end if I trust the process.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

        That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
