hi my name is deb. i was just banded last tuesday on sept 25th. my surgeon was dr marley. so far have lost 9 lbs.have not really been hungry since band inserted.am on the liquid diet right now. go back for my first visit 10/04. dr marley does not put saline in the band till after 6 weeks:)

I had my lapband the day after you! I jealous about the 9 lb weight loss! I actually gained 7 pounds (I'm 4 days out) since the day of surgery - I'm blaming it on the IV fluids though...

Welcome to bandland! My doctor don't fill till 6 weeks either. This is a time for healing!
