Strength training

Anyone banded and working on strength training? I'm about to start work with a coach, but he's very concerned about proper nutrition and Protein levels with the band.

Any experiences with this?

Started last week on my bowflex. And all this time I thought it was a clothes hanger. Nothing too tough yet, just upper body ( tri/bi/chest) and some leg lifts/calf raises. So far so good. I find its easier than going to a gym and I have my choice of music. I did up my protein intake back to 2 shakes per day, with an extra 1/2 scoop in each, and lowered my food to one meal, usually grilled Tilapia/salmon.

I dont really give protein much thought ever, and I really think that for the average person, wanting to tone up, not become Ms Universe, there's no need for tons of extra protein because you're weight training. A normal healthy diet will suffice.
