Is it just me or did anyone else think every piece of food in your house looked amazing (even if you don't like it)?

I resisted but still...

Same for me. Day 1 and 2 were hard but luckily I'm allowed to have one sensible meal. I started my liquid diet early and still don't have a surgery date yet but wanted to get used to the diet before I really had to commit. It does get easier.

Day one yesterday and I made it through. Hard but made it. My hardest part is the evenings when its dinner time with my family and a glass of wine. I was in bed at 7:00. Had horrible headache and allergies are not helping. Day one down starting day 2 and 5 more to go. Good Luck all we got this

I'm on day 3... Day 1 was hard. Day 2 was torture, I was so hungry all day long. Fortunately today seems to be better! It's going to be a long two weeks!

I am with you. My dr doesnt either. The first two days I felt horrible. I am feeling better now day 4. I have not been perfect I had an egg white. Just one and felt like I totally fell off the wagon. It was the best dang egg white I have ever had. I am not a sweet eater so the Protein shakes make me sick to my stomach. I keep thinking of the big prize. When is your surgery date?

Living alone I plan to remove everything from my house that isn't on the liquid diet when I start that phase.

Today is day one for me, and I threw out all of my temptations last night. I hope it works! Luckily it will be a pretty busy week at work for me, so hopefully that will keep my mind off it. Good luck to everyone!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
