I caught the flu and bronchitis last weekend when my granddaughter came for the weekend and I've been sick in bed since last Monday. (today's Monday again now)
I was able to keep down a couple tablespoons of applesauce last night, that was the first thing I've been able to hold down since breakfast last Monday morning. Now, I have been able to hold fluids for the most part, but not the protein shakes at all. I am starting to feel a tiny bit better this morning like maybe I could try to eat something, but I'm scared to try. And I don't know what to try to eat. GOD, I do not want to throw up anymore! I started antibiotics yesterday morning, and I am suppost to eat with them. So I really need to figuire out what I can try so I can take them this morning. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can try to eat so I can take the medication? I figured you guys might know something light and easy on the belly.
I can tell I've lost weight being sick this week. As much as I love the weight loss, I'd take the weight back if I could just not be this sick anymore! Needless to say if I can't hold down food, I haven't been taking the vitamins either. I need to get these antibiotics in my so I can start feeling better soon!
