What did you eat? Sodium makes me gain about a pound overnight but it's water retention. You probably didn't gain a "real" pound, how many calories are you able to eat?

I can't think of a bariatric surgery patient who hasn't experienced this.

Just experienced this myself this morning. I'm 17 days out. It is freaky seeing a gain even though i knew it was going to happen. The old me would of skipped breakfast. I'm eating a 1/4 cup soft foods 3 times a day and 1 snack. Yesterday I only got 48oz of fluid down[emoji53] but met my protien goal. I ate 184 calories. Today I'm going to get both!

It happens. As you add in more food, you may see a slight gain as your body adjusts. It will drop off quickly don't worry. Just carefully follow the eating plan your surgeon recommended
