How many steps on fitbit?

I had my surgery, on 2/22. I've been struggling with drinking fluids. As soon as I drink I feel pain on my shoulder and chest area. I'm wondering if I need to walk more. I figure I should count my steps with my fitbit. Anyone have a suggestion on how many steps I should do a day?

Carol, the Fitbit is great. But start by just trying to walk 10 minutes each hour. You will be amazed how many steps you'll get in!

If you get a Fitbit, I'm in a group of other sleevers that have regular step challenges. If you want to join in, friend me on Fitbit at vban@charter.net
