Hi!

What are some questions you asked your surgeon in your final pre-op appointment? What do you wish you would have asked now that you've gone through the surgery?

I'm compiling my list and here is what I have to ask so far:

-How will the incisions be closed- stitches? staples?
-What is the best way to prevent infection/how to care for inciscions
-Will I have a drain? If so, how long?

I asked about my nose ring and if I was allowed to were a plastic retainer in place during the surgery since my nose piercing would close up right away. He told me that was fine, and I took out all of my other piercings. Just about everything else they covered before I even had to ask, they were very very thorough at my pre op appt.
