What happens in psychotherapy visit

I will be having my psychotherapy visit soon. What does this visit include? What will they discuss and talk about? I've never done anything like this before?

I just had mine last week. Nothing to it. Basically he asks you some questions concerning your weight history. It probably won't take 20 minutes. After the talk you have to answer a booklet of questions. Turn it into the front desk and leave.

It's different seems like everywhere. She only asked me question about family, friends and food. When you eat and do you have a support group. Lasted about 20-30 minutes no questioners here. Just stick to the questions don't add any extra. The more you talk the more they sit and listen and read between the words. That's there job!!!

Well first they strap you to a table and put electrodes on your body. Then they give you a small 50,000 volt shock. LOL.

Just kidding. All they do is ask you questions. It is very easy and simple. Be honest with them and don't give them any additional information unless they ask. Mine took less than 20 minutes and I filled out the questioner while si waiting room.
